Privacy and personal data
hoteldesinvalides.com collects as little data as possible. No account to create, no form, no newsletter. Reading this site asks nothing of you.
What the site collects
Anonymous traffic statistics: which pages are read, from roughly which country, on what kind of device. They tell me which questions recur — that is how I know “what is inside Napoleon’s tomb” is searched thousands of times a month, and that it was worth a page of its own. The site sells no data, builds no profile and cross-references its statistics with nothing.
The GetYourGuide modules
The availability modules and booking links are supplied by GetYourGuide. They may set cookies in your browser to attribute a booking to this site, which is how the affiliate programme works. When you book, you do so with GetYourGuide, whose privacy policy applies to the data you enter there. This site never sees it.
If you write to [email protected], your message and your address are kept only as long as it takes to reply and to correct the site if necessary, then deleted. They are passed to nobody and used for no mailing.
Your choices
You can block cookies in your browser settings: the site stays entirely readable, only the booking modules may stop displaying. For any question about your data, write to me. And if you would rather leave no trace at all, the great courtyard of Les Invalides can be walked through without a ticket, without a booking and without a browser.
